In this role, you will develop solutions in the areas of environmental and IoT sensors (energy or indoor air quality) data analysis, user alerts and engagements. You will also be responsible for identifying insights and developing algorithms from the accumulated data, with coaching and support from Blue Sky's team and network of advisors.

- Play a vital role in generating key insights into building energy usage, indoor air quality data and customer behaviors by applying machine learning techniques
- Work with product and operation teams to provide insights and recommendations on what works and what doesn’t in product features and business performances
- Extracting, transforming, reporting, and visualizing data
- Generate reports and analytics using tools such as Python, R and the Pandas framework;
- Build reports and visualizations to present data, generate insights from disparate sources of data, such as relational SQL databases, REST APIs, and flat files;
- Find innovative approaches to establish causality that is otherwise too messy and not possible through observational studies
- Design and build predictive models
- Produce actionable metrics from automating data collection, aggregation, and visualization
- Driving and managing data projects from research, planning, designing to final delivery
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors on project planning and execution
- Identify business opportunities and improving competitiveness for our business overall
Jobs Requirements:
- Graduated with a Bachelor or Master in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering degree (or related technical discipline); Alternatively, you have taken the initiative to learn and have developed software or data projects
- 3+ years work experiences
- Knowledge and experience with machine learning, supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement, classification, regression, clustering models
- Experiences in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or Keras
- Experiences in programming languages such as Python or R
- Knowledge of quantitative approach to analyzing data, such as knowledges to use Tableau or Qlik Sense
- Proficient SQL will be advantage
- Experiences in making statistically informed decisions
- Good command of language and able to explain technical concepts / terminologies to general users
- Passionate about new technologies and data analysis
