Head of Sales, HK & China

With 250+ clients & 15M+ USD funding, we have created the leading platform for open innovation challenges to help leading companies (AWS, Uber, Google) accelerate their innovation process and recruit the best talents.

Lead our Sales team (4 people now) in Hong Kong & Shenzhen: recruit & develop a world class BD team to meet and exceed targets, build a powerful pipeline in collaboration with our marketing team and optimize the company Sales’ process & strategy to skyrocket in the Greater Bay Area.

You will have a full operational and strategic lead on the Sales strategy in GBA: from support & training of the BD team, outbound prospecting campaigns to closing (big) deals with some of the largest companies in the world! Expect a very hands-on job in a fast-paced company! 🚀


Reporting directly to the CEO, your mission will be to grow and nurture our clients portfolio by leading a A-team of Business Developers and SDRs:

  • [60%] Business Development: 

    • Develop key accounts in GBA: Nurture existing clients and implement new sales techniques to acquire new local clients.

    • Attend regularly key client meetings of large clients/prospects as well as external events

    • Identify key partners / business providers that could help us boost our growth

  • [20%] Team management: 

    • Training: Hire, develop & retain a world class BD team to drive business results for GBA

    • Nurture: Tweak the sales process by creating email templates, defining KPIs and performance assessment

    • Support: Help your team win (more) business by reviewing their pipelines, pointing out obstacles and identifying opportunities

  • [20%] Strategy & Optimization: 

    • Design strategies to drive new and additional business sales revenue and maximize client retention.

    • Align with Marketing to ensure commercial strategy is well integrated in Marketing roadmap, plans and programs.

    • Identify new business opportunities and design our next business offers

What you bring:

  • Outstanding commercial skills with a 6-10 years track record in B2B Complex Sales and experience with full sales cycle in HK & in China

  • Leadership: you have already manage a team of BDs with exceptional results

  • Network: Experience selling to multiple personas (VPs and C-levels) with a strong network in HK/Shenzhen.

  • Deal Size: Experience closing deal sizes of US$50-250K

  • Attitude: An entrepreneurial mindset , a proactive multi-tasker, ambitious, and with the capability to “think out of the box”. You do not take NO as an answer and you are not afraid to run the extra mile.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation skills with a calm approach while managing internal & external stakeholders

  • Knowing Hubspot would be a plus!

  • Fluency in English is compulsory and Mandarin is a MUST.
