Mr. Pore is a highly regarded global trade expert with more than 15 years’ experience in leading multinational organizations in corporate transformation, business development, and strategic planning. He has worked for multinational companies like Tata Group, Intertek and Pico, and lived and worked in multiple international locations such as Mumbai, Taipei, Shanghai, New York, London and Hong Kong.
Global Sources organizes Startup Launchpad – Asia’s largest hardware startup trade show in Hong Kong every spring and fall, which provides startup companies with access to tens of thousands of global distributors and some of the largest retailers worldwide.

Mr. Pore graduated from Gujarat University in India with a B.S. in Industrial Chemistry and an MBA in Marketing. He also earned a master’s degree in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona, USA

Chris Ryanning
CEO, nHack

A resident of Beijing for the last 20 years, Chris has seen the Chinese investment sector rise, fall and rise again. As the founder of nHack Ventures, he primarily focuses on technology investments in Northern Europe and bridging these opportunities to Asia. With 4 vertical teams and accelerators on the mainland, nHack is now expanding to Singapore, HK, Tokyo and Seoul. Chris has made 15 investments the last 12 months, about half of them with female founders and most of them with a hardware/software component. Increasingly, Chris is also investing with and advising Asian/Chinese companies expand to northern Europe. Chris was formerly the Chairman of the Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Beijing and has published several books and articles on China, including "Little Streams, Big River (Amazon). Chris is a graduate in Economics and Finance from ESSEC and University of Chicago

Bay McLaughlin has supported technology startups for the last decade. Over half of this time was spent at Apple as a founding team member of their global SMB channel and as the founder of their first Entrepreneurship Evangelism channel. To support startups at Apple, Bay partnered with the world’s best founders, venture capitalists, incubators and accelerators to identify and solve the most pressing strategic issues. The other half of his career has been spent inside of or founding startups, two of which failed, one of which exited successfully. Currently, Bay has equity positions in 52 companies across 20 countries, ranging from B2B SaaS platforms to the number one website in surfing. Most recently, he has co-founded Brinc.io, a hardware investment fund and platform to bring the next wave of connected technologies to retail shelves around the world.

Roee Peled is leading Strategic Partnerships at Flex ($25bn, 200k employees, 100 sites, 30 countries), world’s leading Sketch-to-Scale® solutions provider that designs and manufactures hardware products. Roee holds MBA from MIT and B.Sc. Engineering from the TLV University. Prior to Flex, he served as a captain at the IDF, founded several entertainment businesses and was the CEO of a successful SaaS Mobile Payment start-up. At Flex, Roee is seeking high potential ~$1bn opportunities through global partnerships with OEMs, Carriers and Retailers and is focus with IoT, Mobile devices, Connected Home, Digital Health, AgTech and Energy. Roee lives in Silicon Valley.
