Description

We are looking for an Accounting / HR Officer who thrives in a friendly, English-speaking work environment. This new headcount will be integral in supporting the aggressively growing operations of a young and innovative team of talented individuals.  Our Accounting / HR Officer will inevitably learn the intricacies of a leading Product Design and Development process.  And work directly with the COO to evolve administrative solutions for improved team efficiencies and effectiveness. This requires:

  • Handling and overseeing all around accounting functions, including monthly management accounts, group financial reportings, tax filing and internal control
  • Performing the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment & selection, payroll, MPF, annual leave and sick leave management and employer’s returns
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in Accountancy, HR, Business or related discipline. Applicants with at least 5 years of relevant work experience are preferred
  • Student of HKICPA, ACCA or above

This position requires a team player who is passionate about creating an optimized work process and environment for a high-performing start-up. We need someone who is a good communicator, team player, solutions-minded and innovative thinker all rolled into one.

  • You will be an integral part of the HK team; focused on enabling each team member to excel at their specialization
  • You have a thorough understanding of HK accounting standards
  • Preferably, you have experience working with QBO
  • You are known for your attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • You have an uncanny knack of knowing what the team needs before they even know it; ultimately becoming the go to person for all HK office-related matters
  • You work effectively within a cross-functional project team
  • You have the ability to see and communicate your ideas
