Quickstart Asia was founded in 2012 and since then has supported many international clients with business development activities in Asia. China is a focus country. We provide a platform for growth for our customers. This platform includes: market research, development of specific product propositions given unique features of the Asian markets, marketing support, prepare target customer list, approach these customers, contract negotiations and order fulfillment support. Following sales success, set up of local entities and hand-over of tasks to these entities is being managed. The customer base is currently focused around healthcare (medical equipment, teleradiology) and renewable energy technologies (smart grid, electric vehicles) but companies in other industries are being served as well.
Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
Ø Research industries that customers are active in with the objective to have a basic understanding of the industry and its developments. Establish overview of the industry in Asia including overview of main players. This will result in target lead list of companies that need to be approached.
Ø Prepare marketing materials to position the product/ technologies of the customers to the target lead. Such marketing materials typically include company history and track record and besides this introduction of the products/technologies with focus on the unique selling points.
Ø Make contact is made with the right people within the companies from the target lead list and organize face to face meetings. Active participation in such meetings.
Ø Drive active follow up with target leads following meetings to enable realization of sales.
Ø Day to day interaction with the customers and ensure customers are satisfied with the support of Quickstart Asia.
